Schedule a training call
Schedule a training call with your team by clicking the button below, and selecting a date and time that works best for you and your team. We are excited to meet you face to face!
Turn on the headset
- Locate the power button on the top of the headset.
- Hold down the power button for 3-5 seconds to turn the headset on.
Connect to Wifi
- Put on your headset.
- Double click the button on your controller.
- If you cannot find the pointer on screen, point your controller forward and press and hold the button to reset the controller.
- Select your Wifi and enter your password when prompted.
- If your password has special characters, choose the “EN” version.
- Submit your password and look for a green checkmark next to your Wifi network name.
- Press the button once to return to the Carrot app.
Sign in online
- Navigate to carrot.io on your computer or tablet.
- Enter your username and password
- Press “Sign In”.
Set up an exam
- Click the blue “New Exam” button next to your new headset.
- Fill in the patient information and select your exam type.
- Select the patient’s preferred language in the instructions dropdown.
- Click “Start Exam” to queue up the exam on your headset.
Take the exam
- Click the power button once to wake your device up if it is asleep.
- Put on the headset and click to start the exam instructions.
- Complete the exam.
View your results
- When your exam finishes, click the button to view the test results.
- You can download the test results into your EMR or print them out.

- You can view progression analysis results from the patient’s profile.
Charge your headset
- You should charge your headset overnight and between exams.
- You can also use the 10 foot cable to charge during an exam.
- Every evening, turn the headset all the way off by holding down the power button for 3-5 seconds.
Charge your controller
- Your headset comes with four rechargeable batteries.
- We recommend keeping two batteries in the controller and the other two on the charger.
- Swap the batteries in the controller and the charger every 2-3 days.
